Hadrian raises $40 million for its agentic offensive security platform
Amsterdam-based Hadrian raised $40 million in a round co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin, with existing investors HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures participating, bringing total funding to $65 million. Hadrian combines continuous mapping of a company's external attack surface (Atlas) with on-demand AI-driven penetration testing (Nova). The money funds expansion across EMEA and the US.
Hadrian announced the $40 million round on October 6. It was co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin, with participation from existing investors HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures, and brings the company's total funding to $65 million. Hadrian says it will use the money to expand across EMEA and the US and to invest further in its engineering and research teams.
Founded by former ethical hackers Rogier Fischer (CEO) and Olivier Beg together with Maurice Clin, Hadrian sells an AI-native offensive security platform with two parts that share context: Atlas continuously maps an organization's external attack surface and uses AI agents to check which exposures are actually exploitable, and Nova runs agentic penetration tests on demand. The pitch is that attackers now use AI to move at machine speed while most organizations still rely on periodic manual pentests and drown in scanner findings that need no action.
Hadrian claims customers see 10 times more visibility into critical exposures, 80% faster time to resolution and five times the return of manual pentesting. Customers named in the announcement include McKesson, NBCUniversal, Francisco Partners, TotalEnergies, Amadeus, Leroy Merlin and Damen Shipyards.
